Attorney Jordan El-Hag, founder of El-Hag & Associates, P.C, was invited to speak to a class of students at the Westhab/Strive work readiness program in Mount Vernon, New York. This video is part 2/2. This part of the seminar provides the students with an overview of labor unions. It explains what a union is, what a union does, and how they can join a union. It concludes with a brief question and answer session with the audience on general employment law topics.

Westhab & Strive are two great organizations devoted to helping low to moderate income individuals achieve more financial stability in their lives by giving the students and customers the tools they need to secure meaningful employment and housing. It is unfortunate that their students and customers are the most likely to be victims of wage theft and other workplace violations.

El-Hag & Associates, P.C is a law firm devoted entirely to representing working men and women who have been mistreated in the workplace. The firm does not represent business owners. Our key practice areas are: (1) Wage Theft, (2) Discrimination, and (3) Union Formation.
